Intraoral Scanning

Intraoral Scanning is a wand-shaped handheld device that captures 3D digital dental impressions and uses the data to produce a highly detailed image of the patient’s mouth.

Intraoral scanners are faster than traditional physical impressions,  the software creates a 3D image which gives a 360 degree angle of your mouth and teeth. Once a dentist has taken an 'impression' using the scanner, the 3D image can be sent to a dental laboratory in order to construct any dental restorations or appliances such as:

  • Invisalign

  • Dentures

  • Crowns

  • Bridges

  • Implants
